FEATURED PROJECT - NASA DRYDEN CONSOLIDATED TECHNOLOGY BUILDING
Project Description:
BMI was chosen as the top mechanical contractor for the new data operations center for NASA DFRC. This project includes construction of a 30,0000 sf communications center and offices. The mechanical portion of this center is considered to be the top priority for NASA, timing organization and mission critical equipment were at stake.
BMI was responsible for installation of a DDC controlled 140 ton temp cooling tower, condenser water lines and 160 ton DDC controlled temp chiller system. Our expertise of piping DDC controls shined as we were provided only a few hours to do a critical transfer from the current 140 ton Trane system to our DDC controlled temp system. Everything was completed on time and on budget with no failures!
