Bacco Mechanical Inc, completed the mechanical construction of a 30,0000 sf communications center and offices. The mechanical portion of this center was considered to be the top priority for NASA, timing organization and mission critical equipment were at stake. BMI was responsible for installation of a DDC controlled 140 ton temp cooling tower, condenser water lines and 160 ton DDC controlled temp chiller system. Our expertise of piping DDC controls shined as we were provided only a few hours to do a critical transfer from the current 140 ton Trane system to our DDC controlled temp system. The mechanical installation consisted of a YORK 150 ton modular central plant, 2 60 ton alliance air handlers, 6 Data-Aire CRAC units, 6 condensers, 2 Parker hot water boilers and 35 VAV units.
